Effective Date: January 1, 2026 - Florence Insulation - florenceinsulation.com
By accessing our website at florenceinsulation.com or by engaging Florence Insulation ("we", "us", or "our") for any services, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Florence Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, basement insulation, vapor barrier installation, air sealing, and insulation removal. We operate in Florence, Alabama and the surrounding region.
Services are provided at physical job sites and are subject to site conditions, material availability, and scheduling. We do not guarantee that a specific service will be appropriate for every situation. Our team will assess each project individually before committing to a scope of work.
All estimates are provided in writing after an in-person or remote assessment of the project. Verbal estimates are not binding. A written estimate reflects the scope of work and pricing at the time it is issued.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. After 30 days, pricing may change due to material costs or other factors. If conditions at the job site differ materially from what was observed during the estimate visit - for example, if additional moisture damage, structural issues, or hidden obstacles are discovered during work - we will notify you and discuss any changes to scope and cost before proceeding.
We do not charge for estimates. Estimates are provided free of charge and with no obligation to proceed.
Once a job is scheduled, we ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. This allows us to adjust our crew and equipment assignments in time. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee, which will be communicated in advance.
We will notify you as early as possible if we need to reschedule due to crew availability, weather conditions, or equipment issues. We do not charge any fee for our own rescheduling.
Access to the job site on the scheduled date is the customer's responsibility. If our crew arrives and cannot access the site due to circumstances within the customer's control, that visit may be treated as a cancellation under the policy above.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless a different arrangement is agreed to in writing before the job begins. For larger projects, we may request a deposit prior to scheduling. Any deposit terms will be specified in the written estimate or project agreement.
We accept payment by check, credit card, or other methods agreed upon in writing. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
If payment is not received after reasonable collection efforts, we reserve the right to pursue the outstanding balance through available legal remedies, including the filing of a mechanics lien where permitted by Alabama law.
We stand behind the quality of our work. If a defect in our workmanship is identified within one year of project completion, we will return to address it at no additional charge. This warranty applies to our labor and installation only.
Manufacturer warranties on materials - where applicable - are separate and governed by the terms of the manufacturer. We will provide any relevant documentation at the time of project completion.
This workmanship commitment does not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to water intrusion from roof failure, pest damage, flooding, fire, or structural movement unrelated to our work.
Except as expressly stated in the workmanship warranty above, our services and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will produce specific energy savings outcomes, as results depend on the condition of your home, your usage habits, and factors outside our control.
Information on our website is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for a professional assessment of your specific situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Florence Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to that claim.
We prefer to resolve any concerns directly. If you have a problem with our work or a billing issue, please contact us first so we have an opportunity to make it right. Most disputes can be resolved quickly with a direct conversation.
If we are unable to resolve a dispute through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any formal legal action. Mediation will be conducted by a neutral mediator agreed upon by both parties, in Lauderdale County, Alabama.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of AL, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from or related to these terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Lauderdale County, AL.
