Florence Insulation was founded in 2023 by insulation specialists who grew up and work in the Shoals area. The idea was simple - homeowners in Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, and the surrounding communities deserve a local contractor who knows this climate, knows these homes, and shows up when they say they will.

Florence sits in the Tennessee Valley, where summers are long and humid and the housing stock skews older. A lot of the homes around here - especially near downtown, around the UNA campus, and in the older neighborhoods closer to the Tennessee River - were built in the 1950s and 1960s with insulation that was thin to begin with. That means higher energy bills, rooms that never quite feel right, and crawl spaces collecting moisture season after season.

Our technicians are trained in spray polyurethane foam application following the standards set by the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA), covering safe handling, proper mixing ratios, and quality installation practices for both open-cell and closed-cell foam systems.

We have been serving Florence and the Shoals area since 2023. In that time we have completed insulation projects across residential and commercial properties throughout north Alabama, south-central Tennessee, and northeast Mississippi.
